I qualified as a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor with the British Dyslexia Association in 2020 and hold an up-to-date Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), enabling me to carry out full diagnostic dyslexia assessments.

With a Master's degree in Psychology and many years' experience as a primary school teacher and SENCO in London schools, I have spent the last few years supporting children through specialist tuition, assessments and close collaboration with parents, teachers and teaching assistants.

I now work from my home in Herne Hill, offering one-to-one tuition for primary-aged children with dyslexia and specific literacy difficulties, alongside a limited number of private diagnostic assessments.

My teaching is practical, engaging and child-centred. Using a wide range of multisensory resources, I create sessions that are fun, structured and tailored to each child, helping them feel confident, safe and motivated to learn. Every session finishes with a literacy game—and my friendly Border Terrier occasionally drops in to say hello!

As both a teacher and a parent of a dyslexic child, I understand the importance of working in partnership with families. I believe clear communication, flexibility and encouragement are key to helping children make lasting progress.
